Travelling with animals...

PETS IN THE CABIN (PETC)

Subject to the proper formalities being completed, ONLY the following are accepted as PETC:
1) DOGS and CATS of a maximum weight of 5kg on the regional network and 7kg on the transatlantic network, including container. The animal must be enclosed in the container, including its head, throughout the flight.
2) Small rodents (DWARF RABBITS, HAMSTERS and GUINEA PIGS) to the exclusion of all other rodents and animals. They must be placed in a fibreglass or plastic box (sold in pet stores) for small rodents. They must be kept their throughout the flight.
Under no circumstances may these small rodents be placed under the responsibility of a UM.
3) The carriage in the cabin of blind or deaf guide dogs is free provided they do not occupy a seat; they must be muzzled and harnessed. The passenger must present a medical certificate.

ANIMALS IN THE HOLD (AVIH)


The cage must bear the name and address of the owner. Only dogs and cats in suitable cages are accepted as AVIH, with the exception of breeds of dogs that are prohibited from transport. Any other animal must be sent FREIGHT.
The request for animal carriage must be made when booking and permission must be obtained. The use of a wooden cage (chipboard or plywood) is strictly prohibited for carrying a pet. In addition, the cage must be of an appropriate size to allow the animal to lie down, turn round and stand, and when the head is placed normally, the head or ears of the animal must not touch the ceiling of the cage.
