1. Baggage Excess (1 bonus = 10 kg)
Excess baggage bonuses are available for one-way flights. A maximum of 3 excess baggage bonuses per passenger is permitted per flight segment.
Your baggage bonuses are transferable to the person of your choice upon presentation of the identity card of the member
and a bonus application form filled out and signed by the participant (or copy) authorising the withdrawal.
For departures from Orly, the excess baggage bonus must be requested no later than one business day prior to travel.
The excess baggage bonuses are subject to the operating conditions of the day (weather, baggage weight limit ...).
Rules for calculating excess baggage:
» Transatlantic flight: 10 000 miles
» Other flights: 5 000 miles
2. Upgrade
The upgrade bonuses are available for a one-way trip. They must be reserved using a fully paid-up Air Caraïbes ticket on an Air Caraïbes route.
The reservation is made within the limits of available seats and in a specific booking class, in which seating is limited: it is possible from a maximum of 15 days before departure until the day before departure (2 days for departures from Paris).
Your upgrade bonuses are transferable to the person of your choice, upon presentation of the member’s identity card and a bonus application form completed and signed by the participant (or a copy) authorising the withdrawal.
Rules for calculating upgrades:
» Upgrade from Class Sun to Class Caraïbes 5 000 miles
» Upgrade from Class Caraïbes to Madras 30 000 miles
» Upgrade from Class Sun to Madras 35 000 miles
3. Bonus tickets
Where do I apply for bonuses?
- on the dedicated PREFERENCE No.: 0820 830 832 (€0.11 euro/mn from France)
- at the central booking office: 0820 835 835 (price of a local call)
- At Air Caraïbes counters in the airports (Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Saint-Martin-Grand Case, French Guiana), - by e-mail to the Preference Service Paris or the Preference Service Caribbean.
Bonus tickets must be booked at the latest 15 days before the departure date. Bonus tickets are booked made in a specific class within the limits of available seats.
» Bonus tickets must issued no later than 72 hours after booking (beyond that date, the reservation will be cancelled). For reservations made directly on the website, payment and issuance are immediate. » The airport and security taxes related to the issuance of the ticket are payable by the passenger and vary by country and by airport. They must be paid upon issuance of the ticket.
» The fees arising from the bonuses can be paid by cheque, cash or credit card.
» Less than 30 days before departure, payment by cheque is no longer possible.
» Bonus tickets are not refundable and unused miles cannot be recovered by the passenger.
» Changes in bookings are possible for a fee of 50 euros each way per person:
“- Before the ticket has been issued, changes in name, route, date and time are available free of charge.
- Once the ticket has been issued, only changes in date and time are allowed, subject to the payment of a fee of 50 euros per change.
