* This applies for all tickets issued after 1 May 2010 (except special offers launched before 1 May 2010) and for all available classes (Soleil, Caraïbes and Madras classes). If you purchased your ticket before 1 May 2010, but travel after this date, Air Caraïbes will apply the luggage policy valid on the date of purchase.
** Weight may not exceed 23 kg per piece of luggage and a total dimension (height + width + length) of 158 cm. An excess luggage fee will be due for all hold luggage weighing more than 23 kg with a maximum weight of 32 kg (see below).

Passagers en transit :

Passengers in transit (tgvair product or Air Caraïbes regional flights) have a hold luggage allowance of 23 kg (due to the specific carrying characteristics of the devices used for luggage transfers), except Madras class passengers, who may travel with 2 pieces of luggage weighing 23 kg each.

CHILDREN AGED UNDER 2

One piece of luggage weighing 10 kg allowed plus one folding pushchair (umbrella stroller) or car seat free of charge per child.

ANIMALS

To find out if your pet can travel with you in the cabin or in the hold, please call Air Caraïbes Reservations when booking your flight. The transport of animals is not included in the luggage allowance :

• Pet in cabin: €50.
• Animals in hold: €70.
• In the cabin: Dogs and cats weighing more than 7kg, container included. The animal must be locked into the container, the head included during the flight. The small rodents (dwarf rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs), with the exception of quite other rodent and animal must be placed in a box in fiberglass or plastic (sold in pet shop). They must be maintained during the flight there. Unaccompanied Minors can not bring pet in cabin.
• In the hold : The request of transport must be made during the reservation and an authorization must be obtained (to respect the quotae by flight). Only dogs and cats are accepted as animals, in adequate container and with the exception of the races of dogs forbidden the transport. Quite other animal will travel in freight. SPECIAL LUGGAGE

Golf bags, diving equipment, sailboards and bikes are included in the Air Caraïbes luggage allowance (if the item meets the indicated restrictions in terms of weight and dimensions).

OTHER ITEMS OF EQUIPMENT INCLUDED IN THE LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE

• Camping equipment: rucksacks, sleeping bags. • Water/snow skiing equipment: 1 pair of boots, skis and sticks.
• Golf equipment: 1 pair of shoes, 1 bag + clubs.
• Hunting equipment: guns are authorised as hold luggage (ammunition must be packed separately in a box not exceeding a gross weight of 5 kg).
• Fishing equipment: 2 rods, 1 reel, 1 net.

TRANSPORT OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

Large and fragile instruments such as cellos, double basses, etc., require the prior approval of the special transport service. They must be in rigid cases or packaging with rounded corners. A request must be submitted when reserving a ticket.

• In the cabin : Extra Seat for large luggage. Maximum weight per seat = 75 kg.
• In the hold: Included in luggage allowance (if the item meets the indicated restrictions in terms of weight and dimensions).

EXCESS LUGGAGE RATES

• Extra weight: tax of €20 / kg over 23 kg.
• Excess number of pieces: tax of €20 / kg for each additional piece (over the number of pieces included in the allowance).

NOTE: Maximum weight per piece of luggage may not exceed 32 kg.
